Set up a company in Dubai:your costs at a glance

Answer a few quick questions. You’ll see your costs straight away, and we’ll also send you your personal quote via WhatsApp or email.

Question 1 of 5

What exactly are you planning?

This helps us prepare your conversation properly.

How many people need a residence visa through the company?

For the corporate bank account, one visa is usually enough – for example for the managing director. Other shareholders only need one if they move to Dubai themselves.

What is your line of business?

So we can match you with the right contact person straight away.

How many shareholders will the company have?

In other words, who holds a share in the company.

When would you like to start?

This helps us plan the next step with you.

Almost done: where should we send your quote?

After sending, you’ll see your costs straight away. You’ll also receive your quote personally from our team – free and without obligation.

What our clients say

Who does what

Who does what in your company setup

Licences and visas are granted exclusively by the freezone and the competent UAE bodies. We advise you, organise the process and stay by your side until everything is done.

What we do for you

  • Advice and choosing the right business activity
  • Bankability check of your activity up front
  • All documents, carefully prepared
  • Appointments and personal assistance on site (Standard and Premium)

Our model

No service fee with Eco and Light. How does that work?

A fair question – and the answer is simple.

Our fee is paid by the freezone as a commission. No mark-up is added for you.
Why does the freezone pay us?

Because we save it a lot of work. After more than 1,500 company setups, our documents reach the freezone not just complete, but correct – with no follow-up questions. In return, the freezone pays us a commission.

When do you pay us service fees?

With Eco and Light, never – neither at setup nor at renewal.

With Standard and Premium we also coordinate your appointments and accompany you in person. For that there is a service fee, which we tell you exactly up front.

Which fees do you pay on site?

Biometrics, medical test and Emirates ID. You pay these fees directly on site, they do not go to us. We still tell you the amounts up front, so you know every cost from the start.

What we look out for

Six things that matter when you set up

With us you have someone by your side who keeps an eye on these points.

1The right business activity

It defines what your company may do later. If an activity needs an additional approval, we can often find an equivalent one without.

2A bankable activity

Banks are cautious about some activities, including ones you wouldn’t expect. We check this beforehand, so everything runs smoothly when you open your account.

3Your whole situation

Where you live, whether you are relocating, companies you already own: we look at the full picture, so your structure fits from day one.

4Well chosen, not just filled in correctly

A company setup can be formally correct and still not suit your plans. We clarify this up front, which saves you time and money.

5One personal contact

When questions come up, you reach someone from our team who knows your case.

6Every deadline covered

Licence renewal, visa, Corporate Tax registration: we remind you in good time, so you don’t have to keep track yourself.

✓ With Eco and Light, all of this is included without a service fee.

Who it’s for

Typical freezone companies

Who a freezone company suits – and what matters in each case.

Freelancers & consultants no approval needed

Management consulting, IT, marketing, project management: if your clients are abroad, a freezone company is a great fit. Usually no additional approval is needed.

Influencers & content creators permit required

If you live in the UAE and do collaborations, advertising or affiliate links, you have also needed an Advertiser Permit from the UAE Media Council since February 2026.

Your licence needs the right activity for this, and we make sure of that from the start.

Online shops & e-commerce no approval needed

Online shop, marketplaces, dropshipping: with the right trading activity, this works smoothly.

What matters is where you deliver and where your goods are stored. If you need a warehouse in the UAE, we often recommend a different freezone.

Coaches & trainers no approval needed

Business, lifestyle or fitness coaching, online or for clients around the world. Usually no additional approval is needed.

Software, IT & agencies no approval needed

Software development, web design, social media and advertising agencies: these activities fit a freezone company very well and can be combined with each other.

Crypto traders possible privately

Trading with your own money is simply done privately in the UAE.

The company then mainly serves as the basis for your stay in the UAE. A trading licence isn’t required for that – we’ll find the right activity with you.

Real estate RERA approval

Real estate consulting and brokerage require an approval from the real estate regulator RERA. Very doable, but it follows its own process.

Your activity isn’t listed?

IFZA offers more than 800 activities. We’re happy to check with you which one fits your plans and whether an additional approval is needed.
